There's the big 3 I call them: Summit, Jeg's, and Thunder Racing. You can USUALLY count on them. Otherwise, it's a matter of what your buying and if you did your homework.

Race Part Solutions has a lot of the fittings and other misc performance parts that can be cheaper than Summit. Good customer service also.

I have found the best selection / prices for internal engine parts at Competition Products (call them and get a catalog - their website is not the best)

I usually buy at Summit or Jegs. Jeg's here lately has had 2 day shipping for $10 (order fee)+ $2 (rural fee).

One thing most people do not know is both Summit and Jegs pricematch identical parts. You need to provide them the phone number or URL of the place, the part number, and the going price. Also the place must have an actual storefront (walk in location) that way they don't have to compete with the guy down the street doing drop shipping.

I once got a 3 piece aluminum compcams timing cover this way for ~$200 (~$60 lower than list in Summit).

I like summitracing.com, never had any problems (spent near $1500 total over the summer). Also where I live, it is 1-day free shipping.
