Procharger d1sc on 305

ok i've done some research and i want a procharger!!!!

question is this P1SC or D1SC ?

i have a 305 TPI 5 speed now
Accel tpi base and large runners
Crane 2032 Roller cam with comp cams 1.6 roller tip rockers
19lb hr injectors flow matched and clean
walbro 255 fuel pump
headers, 3" catback

i have the capability of burning my own proms and will eventually switch to a 7749 ecm

i will be building a 350 L98 block in the future most likely for boost

so will my current 305 be okay with the D1SC, do i need modifications or different fuel injectors?

also the polished intake tract option i assume is for the ducting from the procharger to the throttle body

willie..... your my idle

Depends on boost #'s... I am sure the P1sc would be plenty for the 305 and the 350 but the d1sc would be nice to have in the future.. My thoughts, buy the d1sc (if you don't want to buy bigger injectors) put a larger pulley (less boost) run it on your 305 and when you do the 350, bump your injector size and the boost....

Just my .02...

I agree with 5.7 iroc-02ws6, and as far as getting polished tubes, the only tubes that will get polished would be the ones you can see from the top like in 5.7 iroc-02ws6's sig.

go with the D1-SC if you can afford the few hundred more over the P1-SC...that way if you happen to grow into a 350 or 383, you'll have more than enough blower for the added displacement. Think ahead buddy and you'll save yourself some money in the long run.

ok one more question, every where i look the d1sc's lowest boost option is 15lbs

how do you guys get 10lbs? i keep hearing about a 4.25" pulley, is this a pulley you have to buy elsewhere?

Check out this post, Willie covered pulley sizes and ATI's "produced" boost ratings

When you order the system, the engineers at ProCharger will take the information you give them about your application and spec out the correct pulley. They also have 4.50", 4.75", and 5.00"

great, i think i'll run 10#'s for now using the fmu, then later upgrade the injectors and 7749 ecm, 10#'s should be okay on my 305 with 19lb injectors correct? it says 12lbs requires 24lb injectors, i cant wait till i get the procharger!
