I need some help.
I have been working on my twin turbo setup for a while and kinda got burned out. I stopped because I did not want to rush it. Since then I have come across a holset turbo which I bought for 40 dollars. It is a "new" one. The reason I say that is because the guy who originally owned it, bought the truck new, drove it for a week, then turned it into a PULLING truck. So, I could not pass this up. I was told it is an hx35, but everyone I am finding on my computer has the split inlet on the turbine housing. This one is open. What I am wanting to know is if anyone knows of a site that I can compare casting numbers to and find out what I have. I am not going to post the numbers unless someone wants me to. Thanks for any help.

the reason I did not want to post the numbers was because I did not want someone to feel obligated to look them up. I know I am that way. Someone posts casting numbers and I spend to much time looking for them. Most people put, " do a search", but I have and come up with nothing.

well, if you wannt answers you're going to have to give us some kind of details... truck/year/transmission, pictures and/or numbers. As far as a web site, I don't know of one... The dodge diesel board has a link/page that compares the H1C's and the assorted 35's that came on them, but you'll have to do a search for it and I don't remember it having any real info past what should be on what truck...

i know I dont need the split exhaust on the turbine housing, but I am not sure if it an hx35 because all that i can find have the split. so, if it is not an hx35, I want to know what it is. I will post the numbers tomorrow. Thanks
