1) Do you think I should swap to serpentine first, then do the install? Or do it all at once?

2) I deleted my a/c a while ago, which was easy on the multi-belt system. I just ordered the GM part# #10055890 for $60. It's a pulley and I believe a breacket too. I thought it was cheaper, but, is that all I need to do a/c delete to a serpentine system???

3) Oh yeah, third question, is there anything wrong w/ using a procharger inline pump w/ my Vortech kit. Will it support 15lbs bos tor just 10???? t

I think you'd be better off doing it all at once because the Vortech does not use the stock driver's side serpentine bracket.

Don't know the answer but I don't believe you would get two parts with one part number.

Why not? I use a Vortech T-rex pump with my ProCharger.

Justin, call your local GM parts department and give them the part number. They should be able to tell you exactly what it is.

I already ordered it, and the guy couldn't tell me for sure what it came with. I know I need it, but do I need anything else? I looked at the schematics also, and couldn't determine exactly what it came with. It is listed as a pulley, but I think they give you the bracket too. Does anybody know for sure?

Do you already have the big bracket that houses the AC compressor and the smog pump? If so, then that AC delete pulley is all you need. If you ever want to ditch your smog pump as well, 10186167 is for the smog pump delete pulley.

Look where the AC is supposed to be on the passenger side. That bracket with a pulley on it bolts in place. Its 1 part number. I dont remember what that number is off the top of my head though. LOL
I bought it through GM about a year ago.

Justin, yes that is the factory tensioner and it is standard on the serp. set up.
The AC/Smog pump bracket is one piece and it attaches to the front of the block with 2 bolts down by the balancer and I believe two studs up on the head. The smog pump/ac delete will bolt to this bracket. On the other side you will have the Vortech bracket and it will support the SC, Alt. and PS pump per the Vortech installation instructions. This should be a pretty straight forward swap.
