Anybody ever "cut" ram air openings into stock hood for power??
I was thinking- The airbox setup on my engine is fairly straightfoward. If you just bypass the whole mishmosh in the airdam and route the main circular induction tubing up to custom slits or openings in the hood, would this act as "ram air"? I realize you would also have to convert to a cone filter on the throttle body.

Pioneer headunit, stock speakers, Rockford 10'' punch woofers
Ricers beware...I eat you three meals a day
And the Camaro said to the Civic "Now, I know what you're thinking...in all of that mess, did he have 8 cylinders, or only 6? You just gotta ask yourself one question...do you feel lucky? Well do ya....punk???

Stock hood is way to flat to get any pressure off of it.
Would need a foreward facing opening.
THOU,
you can set the hood up to duct hot air out from under the hood, and 80MY Fender vents, 87 GNX feneder vents are also choices for *venting*.
