Kinda neat lookin.... ugly as heck, but neat...

What kind of probs. did he have with the TPI?

Why not fix the probs and go for a better setup, than go back in time for a less efficient system?

Look pretty good/interesting. I would really like to see more picsfrom different angles, and more details on what parts he used.

What size turbo did he use to feed the 350? How much boost can he get out of it? How did he do his hedders? I would like to setup something like that. The single turbo thing isn't too back it kinka keeps things more simple on a already complex project!

He could'nt get his stock tach. to work correct...His headers are completly home made. I have one more pic., taken from the left side on the engine, I dont have the possibility to place it on the web, someone who can? email me. I'll call him this week and see whats parts he used.....

The transmission he uses is a TH400 from a pickup If i'm not wrong.

On his first tour with the twinturbo he had, a piston got stuck.....block cracked....a piece of the piston went out into the turbo....only one left now....But It was a real mean machine!!

I'll be back!

More info....

Radiator is placed where the muffler used to be, he has 4" sidepipe now. The turbo is a Garret and boost is 15 psi. Transmission is a TH400. 750 cfm Demon carb and a brodix heads/intake.

First test with g-tech 11.5 with wheelspin for 50 m.

He doesn't blow out any of his seals on his carb with that turbo?

Can't that be one of the largest problems when wanting to run a turbo through a carbed set up? The pressure can literally tear it up.

Can you guys see the white transparent line that's connect just before the "pressure-box". That's the line he uses to pressurize the fuel bowl. Without it the gas didn't stay IN the carburetor. However the setup is very sensitive for boost.

The reason why the installation is so ugly is that he is evaluating the setup. He's rebuilding it once in a while. I've actually seen the car and also heard it when he started it. I almost thought it was a funny car, he hasn't got much of a muffler under it. The exhaust exits just before the right rear wheel.

He has also moved the power brake stuff to the rear, as well as the radiator. Se he has really been using the saw in this car.

The new pressurebox for the carb is made out of polished stainless steel - looks great!!!

And yeah, the reason why he didn't go with FI is that it is too expensive. It would cost him about $1500-$2000 more to build an EFI system. He is living in Sweden and american parts are expensive here.

I'd love to see some pictures of the sidepipe setup. I'm planning on changing the 3" catback to 3" individual downpipes from each turbo, out the side with the flat NASCAR boom-tube style sidepipes. How did he route it?

I've been trying to get in contact with the guy who was doing the photosession that day without luck. I didn't see too much of the underside of the car though. He has homemade subframe connectors, that I know.

I might be able to get some pictures later on.
