looks pretty good. looks similar to the turbo setup i've been working on, on my car for a while. it's been a "off and on" type project. go check out the pics on my website, McKinney Racing Products

I'm in the process of trying to get a deal to have the throttle bodies CNC machined. The one on our test car is actually the only one the has been produced so far and it was done manually...not going to be the best route to go. So, we're not sure when the CNC deal will go thru but it is being worked on! Please PM me, dave, to let us know what further detail you are looking for on the TBs as the new, CNC'd, version will be slightly different that what we currently have.
Yes, our goal is to build a manifold that will clear the stock distributor and work with the aluminum heads. It will be a solid, one piece unit. Also working on getting the flanges CNC'd for the manifolds. Prices may have to be incresed somewhat since machining parts like these is not cheap. We will do our utmost to keep the costs reasonable, though!
Thanks for the interest!

yeah i actually tried to install both but my dual inlet fmic was to big lol,and i ran into some space issues with 2 turbos.im kinda wary about mounting them over the valve covers with a fiberglass hood, also i would need to convert to sd from my maf system to run twins.it will eventually happen.but prolly after summer, having to much fun with this new setup, the new to4e is making 4-5 psi by 2,500 tops, though its set for 9-10 psi atm im going dead lean @5psi,i gota swap in my new injectors and fmu tom,and then ill see what she can do.
i am having a few problems though, very eratic idle, its like blower surge on a blown car,and i didnt have a new o2 bung so i had to cut the one off my original pipe and reweld it to the new pipe.well it dosent stick into the pipe far enough.so im pretty sure its not giving the ecm a true reading.hopefully tom ill have all that fixed, cause on thursday im going to make a few passes at island dragway, and id like to be able to make them at 10-14 psi .i have some soundclips and some pics of the hotparts i promised somone i would post, ill get them up soon as i can get on my reg desktop computer
actually heres 2 sound clips of when i first started the engine after the install,
u will be able to hear the ruff idle, and if u listen closely u can hear the turbo winding up as i free rev the engine

nope not at all.i lost about 3/4 inch of ground clearance, though i have 16 inch iroc rims on it which also made the car a lil higher then stock.if it ever does become a problem i will just switch to oval tubing,3 inch oval tubing is the same as say 2 inch reg tubing. but it should never hit anything

im not sure about the flow on the oval tubing, right now i have 2.5 inch tubing under the car.im swaping out my downpipe for a 3 inch downpipe ,im gonna use th oval tubing were it goes under the k member then once its back into the stock ex location ill get the oval to round transition and run the rest with reg 3 inch round.only cause the oval stuff is exspensive.hey alan actually im interested in both the upper manifold and the tb,im not sure yet on them though .im getting rid of my stock ecm for eithe ra motec engine managment system,or an aem system.so i may just build a full custom manifold from the base up.and use one of those single blade tpi tbs, whats the flow on the tb/and upper plenum u have?
Hey, wait a minute..... there's pictures of a Mustang and a Chrysler Hemi long block mixed in with your Turbo V6 pics! Did you think you were just going to sneak those by without anyone noticing? Explanation required.
That's a pretty trick little turbo install. Good thing about a V6 3rd gen- TONS of room in front of the motor. Does look like a logical spot to mount a turbo. Good luck with the tuning.

the long block u see is out of my uncles alchohol dragster 492 ci hemi it runs a whipple blower, making aprox 4,000 hp 5.20@260+mph in the 1/4.these are the kind of things i build at work on a dialy basis, its a family owned race car shop that sbeen in busnies since the late 60's
Cool man.
(edit: nm, I found your other thread.)
I told you the one turbo would do fine.
As I said before, two of those would support massive power but they may not be as usuable as the one on your engine.
What again has been done to the 2.8?

its not a 2.8 its a bored 3.1 with set of race ported heads, which have also had the chambers reworked and milled to keep the 8.9-1 cr.besides that 2.8 intake was reworked with porting and welding.i threw the 2.8 maifold on it so it would still look like a 2.8.right now im looking into building a bored/possibly stroked 3.4,but its not looking good on the ability to stroke the 3.4 block, unless i go with an aluminum gmpp block

take a pic of the timeslip with your digital camera...
sounds like you've made some great progress on it, though!
