Help-How to construct 12sec cars
At me has appeared Corvette C4-91, ZF6, gear 4.1, engine 383, comp 11:1. I would want that but went 1/4 for 12sec. I shall precisely use MR, I do not know what to use heads and a cam. Who has a similar experience, wish to hear your opinion. Maine advice on selection parts is necessary.

This forum is for 3rd gens, not corvettes. Check out a corvette forum.

Traction is half the battle engine is the other half... half your problems can be solved on the corvette forums, we can solve the engine half... But one will not work without the other...
its alot easier to tune a car when it hooks...

I think a corvette forum can tell you how to setup your corvette to run 12 seconds. It's a different rear suspension set from our 3rd gens, so asking here is a waste of everyones time.
Motorwise, do a search. A 383 like you say you have, should have NO problems running 12's.

Hey Dmitri, must be difficult to build American horsepower over there. I wish I could help you more, but I am not an engine building expert myself. There are a lot of good parts out there that can easily get you to your goal. I don't know how easy those parts would be to get in Moscow, but I wish you luck with your Corvette. I'm sure somebody here will be able to help you out. Also, use the search feature at the top of this page. Don't be afraid to copy somebody elses combo that has already achieved the results you desire.

i dont know if this helps but when your selecting a cam, knowing its a 383, you cant go too aggressive (not sure what the max. limit is) because of the stroker crank clearance. dont know if you already knew this or not but, good luck.
