nitrous plate or nozzle?

which would be better? i probably wont go over a 150 shot, but may get greedy and put in a 175.

i bought a used nitrous kit with the TPI plate, but the guy didnt have the extensions for the TV or throttle cable. I know theres a guy around here with an LT1 that i could probably trade the plate for his nozzle, but is that somthing i want to do? if the plates better then ill keep it, but if not then no big deal i guess.

They’re different…

I like the idea of a plate better, of having things properly aimed and not able to be messed up, but I’m not sure that I trust the machining as much as I trust the nozzles. The other advantage with a nozzle is that you can move it forward in the intake ducting for a softer initial hit if you need to.

The plates WAY better. Stick with it, you can get the extension from Auto Zone for 17 dollars that's where I got mine, just get the part number from the NOS 5151 instructions, go in there and order it.

If you want to keep the plate, I have an NOS throttle/TV cable bracket extension in my storage unit that I could sell you. It's just a piece of aluminum that bolts to the side of the plenum.
