Would the drivers side have to be modified If I wasnt using powersteering? I am only going to be using an alternator. I thought about having both of the manifolds poiting down then on the passenger side have a 90 going up and connecting to te crossover? what do you think?

That should work since the power steering pump won't be in the way of the crossover pipe. You probably won't have to modify the drivers side manifold/header either.

i know this is an old post but i had to ask...did you guys use "stock" c4 manifolds or did you use aftermarket c4 headers turned upside down?

What size turbine housings are you guys using? I have a 1.15 T4 housing and a T04B-Vtrim compressor laying around that i may consider using.

what about using aftermarket c4 headers on a 400 sbc for a single turbo setup...would that work better than using the stock manifolds?

The purpose of using the C4 manifolds was ease of fabrication. The driver's side barely needed any modification. The passenger side required a bit more, but the manifold design made it easy to work with. Another benefit for me was that the manifold collects into a 2 1/2" tube, which was the same size as the crossover I ran. I don't know if you could get that from the headers.
