any power ideas?
I am slowly wrapping up my project. It should be done in about two weeks. Im wondering if anybody has any ideas of the power i will be making. Heres what i got....
350 bored .040 over
forged flat top pistons
twin 58 mm tb
36#injectors
walbro 255lph high pressure fuel pump
aluminum pulley setup with only 3 pullies(crank, alt., and power steering)
holset h2c turbo wanting to push 15-20psi
heads with 2.02/1.60 stainless steel, 3 angle vavles. port and polished
comp cam XFI Xtreme Fuel Injection Cam 268/280 dur. .520/.515 lift
i think that is everything, cant remember. I have done alot. Any power ideas, please let me know what you think about the setup. Any specfid questions let me know and ill get back to them.

15-20PSI....very hot IAT.
Water kind of water/alky setup or Intercooler are you running?
What is the turbine marking on that H2C unit?
It sounds like a nice setup. If it stays together, my guess is 550-600FWHP. You might run out of injectors. Keep an eye on BPWs and fuel pressure at WOT Peak Torque.

By purchasing some shims that are designed to do this, then place them between the head gasket and head.

Really?????? i think i will have close to that without the turbo. Then if i add the turbo and push atleast 10psi if not 20psi. Then i should easily push 550-600 at the rear wheels.

You have not posted how you are going to cool the intake air. Without an IC or liquid injection you will have severe detonation at 15PSI - 20PSI and destroy the engine.
How are you cooling the intake air? Without cooling you are probably going to end up running a max. of 6PSI - 10PSI. Therefore, less FWHP.
EDIT: If your goal is 550-600RWHP, then the injectors are too small.
EDIT AGAIN: Is that an H2C with a 58mm comp. wheel? That turbo is pretty much maxed out at 650FWHP and makes a lot of heat. Not trying to shoot down your setup. I think it is a great street setup. I just don't see it at 550-600RWHP. Maybe that at for FWHP if the exhaust is setup good so that the cam has a chance of working at peak efficiency.

After doing so more research, i think i might wait to put the turbo on after i get everything i need for it. For now i think i will slap on the 200 wet shot of some good'ol n2o.

Two weeks away from finishing the project and you are ditching it? Were you really being honest about the two weeks to begin with?
Yup, N20 will give you the HP you desire.

yes i was being honest. Just got layed off, so now i cant buy the rest of the parts to finish it. I have everything for the engine to run, just not with a turbo. Also, i already have a nitrious kit that i used before.

Hope your running a lil less ring gap for that 200 shot, and for the turbo later on down the road. Sorry to hear about that job! never a fun thing to have to try to find work again.

This is one of those threads that really irks me… there’s enough detail to know that something is wrong/mismatched but not enough to tell how much. Going down the list...
twin 58 mm tb- I guess that this would assume a TPI setup, but can really be anything. Stock TPI, vs a modified TPI vs a miniram, vs stealth ram, converted single plane… all would make a significant difference in power output and powerband. From one end to the other there can be a significant difference in the final output
36#injectors- this at best limits you to about 480hp at 100% DC, more likely something like 400hp safely
aluminum pulley setup with only 3 pullies(crank, alt., and power steering)- I’m not sure why you even list these…
holset h2c turbo wanting to push 15-20psi- Good luck. Depending on which H2C it is you could be limited to something in the 400hp range up to about 600. doesn’t matter because the compressor map wouldn’t match up well to half of the potential combinations that you list here anyway, and there is such a broad range of what you could have… at one extreme end, this much boost through the best parts that match the description of the hard engine parts 20psi boost could mean ~1200hp. Of course, not a chance in hell that the turbo or injectors will support that, and the walbro will probably only be good for ~700hp. OTOH, take the worst case scenario with the hard parts described here you could be looking at about 350hp… again, details are the issue.
heads with 2.02/1.60 stainless steel, 3 angle vavles. port and polished- What heads? Port and polished by who? Flow numbers? We could be talking about something that flows >270cfm on the intake and realistically could support >500hp NA or something that would be restrictive on a stock, low performance truck 350…
comp cam XFI Xtreme Fuel Injection Cam 268/280 dur. .520/.515 lift- Well, there is a lot of disagreement of what makes a good turbo cam but I can assure you that this one won’t qualify as much of a turbo cam in anyone’s book…
Sticking 100% to your list, well you’re limited by the least of the parts listed which are the injectors and those will limit you to somewhere in the 400hp range.
