"cheap" and "supercharger" should never be put side by side, its not going to happen, ever

Yuppers, I agree, a cheap supercharger doesn't exist. Ever.

Re: cheap supercharger

Also, no a bonneville (or other GM 3800 motor) supercharger won't work on our V-8s, without heavy modification - again, negating that whole "cheap" thing. Sorry, that 305 TBI needs a fair bit of cash to get it REALLY fast. You can however get it "pretty fast" for a reasonable amount of $.

Re: cheap supercharger

The superchargers used for the 3800 series engines, well I got one of those superchargers laying around, going to get a second one. However what I'll do is convert to TPI and do the mount them on the valve covers, like one guys did on this forum.

So, supercharger and cheap AND simple ... nope

Re: cheap supercharger

Those are M-90s. But im not sure it would make much boost in a 305, if it only makes 7lbs on a 3800. But pullys are cheap . Hell why not the M-90 can make 20 lbs on a 3.8 before it just starts to chop air. Maybe you can get 15 or so in the 305...ideas ideas.

Re: cheap supercharger

I got one M60, so yes one only at stock rpm spin, nope would barely do anything, however two spinning faster i.e. more boost, may do something.

The setup the guy did was he ran two M90's on a 305.
