twin superchargers

not going to do this anytime soon but i had an idea to take 2 superchargers from like a gtp or a park avenue, one of those supercharged 3.8's, and custom fab an intake system and brackets to have one over each valve cover and run the pulleys through the serp. system. i think it'd be kind of cool looking at least, i know those s/c's dont run at a very high psi, but it would give a pretty decent power increase right?

Re: twin superchargers

There's a famed corvette that did that. Black 70's or 80's one. 1100HP or something, but that's not exactly an easy way to get that power level, it's been done up to the nuts.

I remember it being discussed on this forum, it'd take a lot (A LOT) of custom fab, and it's not a particularly good idea anyway. See if you can dig up the info, but if someone has to do the search for you, you will be forever shamed

Re: twin superchargers

i'm not talking twin centrifugal superchargers, i know that's been done, i'm talking the stock superchargers that came on like the bonneville ssei's or on the park avenues, they were run on the 3800 series fwd v6's

Re: twin superchargers

ok, but i don't mean just that type of supercharger, i mean the exact charger that you can find on a stock ssei, find a couple at the jy and pull them and make your own custom setup
