You've left alot of factors out, what are your performance goals? What our your fab resources. Can you do alot of it yourself. I've heard guys claim over at turbomustangs that they've put together junkyard systems for around $1200, but I'd consider that the bargain basement end. Consider that you'll have hundred$ in mods to the fuel system alone.

junkclctr, not to be argumentative, but aren't you neglecting fuel delivery upgrades? Even if his stock pump and lines will feed it (unlikely unless his goals are really mild) his FPR is not boost ref'd. He'd at least need a different fuel pressure regulator, wouldn't he?

Questions are good. The first setup used bigger Ford injectors. That is actually how I am setting it up (Ford 42#/hr). The second cheap setup used a nitrous fuel solenoid and injector.
EDIT: The stock lines are fine up to a point. I would go with a bigger fuel pump over stock for 400+ HP.

Ahh, I wondered about the nitrous solenoid! I wondered why you wanted him to run nitrous. You were using it for fuel enrichment!? I missed your point there.........
Don't you still need boost ref. regulator for a turbo app? That was my understanding.

The stock regulator is vac/boost referenced. For every PSI of boost it will raise fuel pressure by 1 psi, which cancels out with the air pressure in the manifold that the fuel is spraying against. So in the end it will just maintain your stock pressure.

TPI cars use a vacuum referenced fuel regulator for less pressure at idle. So when boost hits the diaphragm its just a 1:1 increase, which as I said has no effect because of the pressure differential remains the same.
