Dyno Tune Done

Ed Wright down in Tulsa took care of me w/some custom tuning...

340 rwhp
507 rwtq (some convertor flash--looks like 440-450 across the board)

Both looked real flat and the car drives much better now...

Gotta love that ATI!!

Re: Dyno Tune Done

ah missed the ATI but still would think you would have more HP than that for 500 rwtq...

Re: Dyno Tune Done

Like I said... had a spike in torque at over 500... the baseline was about 420-440 across the board..

Re: Dyno Tune Done

Converter flash will do that. I saw about a 60 ftlb difference on mine in about 400 rpm when I had mine dyno'd. 430 to 370. It was real obvious with this little hump centered on 2.8k. Which was interesting since I had a 12" 2k rated converter.

Re: Dyno Tune Done

sounds off. a zz3 crate is around 300hp, after 12pds of boost it should be up near 475hp or around there. correct me if im wrong.

Re: Dyno Tune Done

That is rear wheel hp...gotta figure 20% loss for drivetrain or thereabouts... And it is only running about 6-7 actual lbs of boost w/all the mods..

Re: Dyno Tune Done

definitely don't consider that converter flash into your RWTQ figure as it's such a quick peak that isn't along a flat torque curve. Although I'd be happy with your numbers, sounds like it needs more boost
