hey guys just got my d1sc up and running ....i was always hearing that the procharger had a nice loud whine ,but i can only hear at idle and maybe up to 5mph but after that i dont hear a thing ..is that normal?

i get up to 10lb of boost with no problem ..its like i can barely hear the whine at low speeds and if i get on the gas i cant hear it at all !!!

i think only the F-1's and up are noisy.. the street blowers are supposed to be "stealthy"

yeah i have never heard a procharger that was loud. post some pics i would like to see the install

yea the p and d street series prchargers have that chirpy whine at idle-2000 rpms. the f-series and maybe the d3-r's have the loud whine all the time. Perfectly normal.

Yeah most Prochargers aren't too loud at anything but lower speeds. If you want to hear a loud blower car you can swing by Barrington to hear my 00 Buick Regal Gs. The blower is louder than the exhaust and tires spinning. The roots type blower will just scream. lol

Nice. It makes for a fun daily driver that is quick enough to beat most cars off the line and on the highway. Factory digital boost guage is a nice touch.

doing a search i found a post by willie that he had his ordered with a noisy gear ..i wish i knew about that before i ordered mine... o well
