Re: where to find quality single turbo header?

a few guys on theturboforums.com are having good luck but using the twin turbo headers, cutting the t4 flanges off and welding v-bands on and making their own crossover/merge pipe. The quality of the SSAC stuff is getting better and for $200 for 304 stainless headers is hard to beat, even making you're own

Re: where to find quality single turbo header?

you can get them off ebay for $200 so if you are just patient you can get some for about half the price.

Re: where to find quality single turbo header?

search ebay for "chevy turbo upgrade". Seven of them popped up last time I did. I wouldn't buy these expecting to bolt them on as is. The crossover looks like it will need a little work to get past the starter and K-member, unless you have a tubular K-member. not much room for a big downpipe if you're keeping your AC, but they definitely seem like a good place to start.

Re: where to find quality single turbo header?

well i dont want to make anything as far as the manifolds go. so fabricating my own pipe is out of the question. however modifying the existing cross over on one of those single turbo kits is an idea. a/c is already gone....

Re: where to find quality single turbo header?

well id you dont want to fabricate anything, then stick with a supercharger kit that comes pre-made, there is NO turbo kit currently made for a third gen camaro.

Re: where to find quality single turbo header?

Ive got 2 kits started to be Jigged up. But time is few and far between to work on em. One is similar to the BBS kit. and one is similar to prestons setup.

If anything they are gonna be on an order as needed basis. I dont plan to keep anything around.

but really if you dont want to do "ANY" fab work your better off buying a ATI Procharger.

or Pay for someones time to do a complete turbo kit for you. Neiter of which will be cheap.
