Nos or no Nos(if so which 1) please help
Trying to decide if I should add NOS or not.Which 1 NOS or ZEX? How would I hide it if I got it? Love the car the way it is right now but want a sweet purge kit to show off but then I would want to add it later.
So what should I do

if you want cheap, easy installable power at your fingertips then yes put some nitrous on it. your motor can take a 100-125 without problems and even more if youre careful. once you start youll never stop though youll always want more lol ask how i know....i use the NOS products and theyre very well built and havent failed me in my 2 years so far of running them.

With out starting a online war........ NOS is the best system.
I know a lot of Pro racers that have tested nos vs nx and nos vs tnt and NOS hands down.

Start at 50hp and work your way up! I would rub a WOT switch so it is only on when you have the pedal to the floor. I think you can make a kit by buying parts on ebay. Rather than $500 for the kit.

i wouldnt ever run a NOS kit, they're just plain old overpriced, if i were you i would look into dyno tune, www.dynotunenitrous.com, or harris speed works, www.harrisspeedworks.com, both make alot fo products for the lt1/ls1 crowd, the single nozzle kit for either lt1 or ls1 will both right into a thirdgen tpi, look on cz28.com or ls1tech to research them, i havnt heard any bad words about them

I had the nitrous works set up for the tbi, It worked well. But the setup was kinda cheaply made and overpriced. I have the edelbrock plate setup on there now. It is a much better made product, from the plate to the bottle brackets to the relay.

I can tell you right now Dyno Tune products are JUNK. You don't want to play games with solenoids, when one of those goes out it can take your entire engine with it. I've never dealt with the Harris Speed Works stuff but LS1 Tech has good things to say about them. I have personal experience with NOS products and I stick with them because of it. I have seen failures with several solenoids but my NOS solenoids just keep on going and going with no rebuild at all. I've had a burnt TNW solenoid, a PAIR of leaking DynoTune solenoids, a leaking Top Gun solenoid, and a leaking Compucar solenoid (these guys and NX do offer lifetime free repair so that was nice).

I have a zex dry kit.
Easy to put on, easy to use.
Their tech support sucks
