injector size, nitrous and tuning

I'm trying to decide what size injectors to put in my car for the beginning of next season. running the stock 22lbers and theyre not cutting it, mods in sig, making about 300 hp 320 ft lbs to the wheels.

so i need to step up to at least a 24 anyways, the car has forged pistons and about 10.5:1 compression, and wondering what a good size injector would be to be able to run lets say a 100 shot in the car and not on a regular basis.

i have all the stuff i need to tune my prom so i shouldnt have any problem adjusting the tune to run on bigger injectors.

some sugestions on injector sizing?

If you're using a wet nitrous system, just size the injectors for the motor. This page has some handy calculations for injector sizing.

thats good to know, have yet to learn the differences and fine points between wet and dry systems.

if i dont need more injector to run a wet system then thats good to know.
still trying to figure out if 24's or a little bigger, but that has little to do with this post

yes buy a wet kit its easy to install on a tpi. basically you tee off the fuel line(can use shraeder valve) and run that to a solenoid. when the system is activated both nitrous and fuel will both be injected at the same time into the motor with the desired amount set my jets to tune it properly. its really easy to do and its fun youll probably up the shot sooner than later everyone always does.

Re: injector size, nitrous and tuning

you can always get some pull-off injectors from an ls1 car, they are 28# and can usually find them for under $100 a set.

Re: injector size, nitrous and tuning

thatd be perfect for me, do ls1's use the same style connector for connecting to the injectors?

i want to say i'm 99% sure they will fit. I think its just the ls2's that are different. If theya re different you can just splice the ls1 pigtails into the fuel injector harness, its simple.
