Which supercharger?
I am thinking about adding a supercharger to my Formula 350 and I was wondering which manufacture should I consider? Vortech, Paxton, Procharger? Any suggestions appreciated!

It really depends what you want. Some spool sooner than others. Others are better at top end. Some are self contained oiling while others need a line from the motor. Then there are some that are easier to swap pullies on and so forth. Figure out what you want, then post back, people will be able to help a lot more.

Re: Which supercharger?
I'll give my
because I've had friends with Vortechs and Paxtons on there stangs and me being the camaro guy outta the group went with Procharger. The difference between my buddies and me, I got an intercooler with a base kit, my unit is self contained oil, not fed of my engine oil like theirs. As far as the fuel management unit and inline secondary pump with my kit I don't remember if they got these options as well. I am VERY happy with my P1SC. Just read, read, read some more on what your looking at because you don't want to make a 2500-3000 dollar mistake.

Re: Which supercharger?
I run a Vortech and am very happy with it. If I had it to do over I probably would go with the Procharger. The reason, is the inclusion of an intercooler in the Progharger kit. I pieced together an IC set up for the Vortech but I saved no money and it was a huge pain.

Re: Which supercharger?
ProCharger is the best of the ones you listed. However the best would be Rotrex.

Re: Which supercharger?
I am really leaning towards Procharger. I want an intercooler and I also I like the idea of having a self-contained unit, but some of the other manufactures make a good argument for having the unit use the engine oil.
Has anyone gone on long trips or has a lot of miles on there unit? If so, how much maintenance have you had to put into it?
Thanks again for the input!
