new turbo setup? 382ci LT1 1 single turbo header
I got all the issues worked out of my LT1 swap and now I've been considering a turbo swap. Reason is, right now I'm running a stock bottom end 350 LT1...I'm putting in a 382 ci LT1 (3.8"x4.0") with a cc305 and I have a hooker LT on the drivers side that refuses to seal well...
I was thinking since my accessories are all on the passenger side I could just replace the drivers header with a turbo header and run the exhaust under the pan along the factory routing...the turbo in a intercooler and out into the TB. I have the space and the tools to do it fairly cheap... and RIGHT.
Problem is I have never done the turbo side of engines before... so as far as they go I dont really know exactly which to get. Mostly because only 4 cylinder would be feeding the turbo, so I cant go too big, but its a stroker, so I dont want to go too small either.
What do you guys think? I was thinking a T-70. It's a 382ci LT1 with a accel conversion intake base and ported SLP runners...
I was also going to have the passenger LT header modified on the end so it bent 45 degrees toward the outside, so I could have both pipes follow the factory routing and not mess up ground clearance.

Don't run the turbine off of 4 cyls. Make a cross over pipe so that 8 cyls feed the turbine. www.mcmaster-carr.com has the elbows you need.

It may be possible but extremely unlikely. You probably didn't see the cross over pipe on the single setup. Who is the "some guy"?
Anyway, install a cross over pipe for the other 4 cyls.
