need to mount alternator on drivers side, low or mid mount... what bracket?
made my own single turbo setup,....
heres the problem: wastegate and down pipe run down the front passenger side of the motor, and also am using an electric water pump, so i need to mount my alternator low or mid on the drivers side,... i am using an S10 manual steering box so no powersteering to worry about.
is there something out there that will mount it there and clear steering stuff..
i tried the jegs low mount driver side bracket and it doesnt clear the pitman arm.
im trying desperately to get this car running in the next two weeks.
i'll be posting pics when i get the new turbo in the mail.... Turbonetics T76....
any advice would be great, thanks in advance, Keith

Have you tried looking at Alan Grove's brackets? Might be somethere in there you could try.

I actually was able to make a low-mid mounted bracketout of some metal i had laying around, and was able to retain my intercooler pipes the way i had originally intended.
thank you very much tho, those look like some nice brackets, next year i will probably look into that EVAC bracket.
thanks
