Re: Single turbo project

Are those the ebay headers?

No meth injection? Figuring the E85 will cool the air well enough? Are you going to monitor IAT's?

Very nice, this is a setup I have been wondering about.

For safety's sake, keep your head away from that turbo inlet!! lol

That thing's HUGE! Should outright fly if you can keep it on the road. Nice!

Re: Single turbo project

I'm planning a similar build! i'm using your old shorties *well one of them* to do mine. I was planning on that turbo too but on a T4 flange. Not sure if its gonna fit under the hood with the BBS manifold, that thing looks much bigger than i thought it would be

I have a S400 T4 on the BBS manifold. I'm running a 3" charge pipe and a 4" Downpipe. I did have to cut a small section of the under hood brace.

Re: Single turbo project

I'm running a overflow btl from a older supra. If you look just right of the hood latch you can see the top of the btl. No way to get valve cover off with turbo on. But to get the valve cover off really isn't very hard at all since everything is V-band clamps, and 4 bolts. I'm in the process of installing a JGS 50R WG.

Re: Single turbo project

Hey. that looks AWSOME! let me know how the tuning goes with that. as im also going to try and do a turbo/blow through carb setup and am curious as to how hard they are to tune and what i should do about the distributor weights and such. except im going to do a rear mount turbo because i dont need the extra power right away, just from 4000-6500.

STOP IT! THese are awsome setups. I keep telling myself that I am not going to modify my car anymore, and you guys keep showing me these awsome trubo projects.

If you do not mind me asking. How does that S400 setup run and what are the specs on that S400.
