Re: Turbo programer?
It depends on how much boost your looking to run. A quality fuel pump (mechanical) will compensate for up to 15-psi, and while others push even more with it, I would seriously consider going with an electric pump w/afpr, thereafter....
Re: Turbo programer?
well its a stock cast motor which ive been told not to run more then 7 psi. i was looking at running a snow water meth kit wich will let me run about 10 psi. let me know if u think those numbers are right. i dont want to run any more cause that would require doing forged internals

Re: Turbo programer?
The camshaft is a lunati bracket master 2. it has 246 246 duration and an operating range of 2500 to 6500. is that to high? heres the link
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/LUN-00012LK/
and the heads are gm 882s. the heads have new valves and springs to hold the cam and the heads themselves have les then 10k miles.
also if u had a sugestion for a good set of heads for a turbo set up and if this cam would work with it

Re: Turbo programer?
The 882 heads are around 76cc chambers. With a flat top piston that would put in the 8.5 - 9.0 compression range. It depends on the valve relief size cut into the piston.
I would run a smaller cam. That cam is not the right cam for your intake and exhaust.
You would be better with something in the 22X* duration range both with and without the turbo.

Re: Turbo programer?
Yeah, The EDL-2204 would work or the one listed below. The Summit one is a cheap one, but would make plenty of HP with turbo boost. How much HP are you trying to make? What RPM range?
Summit Racing SUM-1104 - Summit Racing® Camshafts
EDIT: I just realized you are listing roller cams. Don't use what I posted above. You need as much lift as possible depending on if the heads are ported. The 882s don't flow well so .500" would be the minimum.

Re: Turbo programer?
well i dont need a roller cam it just had the best balance of lift and duration. not really looking forward to the insain price of the lifters but i got to do what i got to do. anywayswhat heads would u suggest me switching to?
