What do I need

One of these days I want to put a supercharger or a turbo kit on my car. I was wondering what is all needed for one of them on. Also I was wondering which is the best one for the money. I heard procharger is good but I cant find a kit on the website so can some of you guys put links for different kits for super chargers or turbos. All help appreciated.

you'd have to convert your car to a serpentine setup to use this

That might be a little out of my price range are there any you know of that are $3,000 or less. I want more power like lets say atleast a 50 -60% gain (320-360 hp) without burning a hole in my wallet. I know you know Im 16 and I should be getting a job this week but I still want to know whats out there so I can save up.

thats exactly how im doing it, bought a 98 vortec block last year for $80 and ive been slowly gathering parts for it, its been slow but i just about have it all collected, then its time to start machining and building... if youre patient i think its the best way to do it, that way you can kind hunt for deals too

the sticker shock of buying everything all at once sucks haha, been there before

Re: What do I need

it depends on how wild you want to go

you can turbo the stock 350 as long as you keep boost to a minimum and dont wail on it too hard, but if you want to make some real power you should start with a forged rotating assembly

the laundry list of a purpose built turbo engine is a mile long, how much power do you want?
