red wire from zex box goes to SWITCH supplied 12 volts+
white wire from zex box goes to light blue wire on TPS{middle wire of the 3 wire connector on tpi cars}
black wire goes straight to ground.

fuel line from fuel rail/external fuel supply goes to FUEL IN port on zex box
Ntrous feed line FROM the bottle, goes to the NITROUS IN port on zex box

Nitrous out goes to the nitrous side of the nitrous nozzle
Fuel out goes to the fuel side of the nitrous nozzle.

it will not work then...UNLESS...

you fabricate a TPS to go on to your carbs throttle shaft, it would have to be able to have the correct low voltage at idle, and 4+ volts at wot

You simply CANNOT just put 4+ volts to the white TPS switch on the zex unit, it looks for the voltage sweep from idle, to WOT, inincremental steps/voltage before it triggers the solenoids to open..

it does this to help eliminate the possibility of a faulty tps/bad TPS ground, which will cause HIGH tps voltage, and would trigger the system to spray on its own.

If i were you, id sell the zex box to someone needing/wanting it for EFI..and use the money to just buy real solenoids.

Re: Nitrous help?

I wouldn't recommend that. Just buy the solenoids from NOS or ZEX and be done or sell that kit and buy another wet kit. If your on a cab set up you will need to buy a carb plate.

Re: Nitrous help?

You need a different setup that box is for TPI. You need to get a better setup for a carb or a kit for a carbed motor. Im sure there is a way to hackjob it in there but its not the right way. Buy the right stuff and install it the right way it will be a lot less of a headache

Re: Nitrous help?

I have a kit that was for FI but it has the solenoids and my carb plate has 2 ports for fuel/nos and I have correct jetting. Easier then dealing with hacking

Re: Nitrous help?

Right he could get the correct stuff to hook it up orrr he could get the correct kit being he is unsure of how to install this with his carb.
