Short Vid of my car
I finally took some footage of my car. This was 10lbs of boost in 90 degree weather.

Do you happen to have a dyno sheet? Mine is breaking up after 4900 rpm and trying to figure it out!

Thanks. No dyno sheet to post. Funny, mine breaks up alittle above 5000rpm also. (you can kinda hear it in the vid right before it shifts into 3rd) It doesnt always do it tho. I think its the distributor pick up. When it does it the tach starts freaking out too.

Sounds pretty healthy! Never ridden in a turbo V8 car....I've gotten used to my blower I guess. There's no mistake as to whether I'm in boost or not - the high pitched whine is a dead giveaway. You turbo seems silent in comparison, but it seems to move out pretty well!
EDIT - It woulda been better without the ride around the block, and more straight line boost footage though...lol

Re: Short Vid of my car
Breaking up up top is usually too big a plug gap or too much load on the ignition (more cylinder pressure- harder to fire the plug, more rpm, not as much time to charge the coil/not as hot a spark).
Tach freaking out- what are you running for an ecm? I ran into that in my formula when I went from '165 (and mask, even ausi '808 stuff) to SD (730 with any mask including some of the sy/ty stuff..., 3 different ecms). I was never able to figure out why...

Let me know as I'm interested. I've tightened my plugs and got a new coil on the way.

Hello Tim,
Good to hear you are enjoying your turbo setup. How much whp and torque do you have, psi?

Hey man, just wanted to add that at least on the street a new coil fixed my problem.
Update us on yours when you do the new plug/wires. My plugs are gapped at ..015, but not sure if I need them that tight with the new coil...
