I've got an 89 TA with the 305 tbi.I,m wanting to replace the stock heads with AFR0917 heads.Ported,polished,Milled for a .600 roller cam.I want to put a whipple supercharger on it.The heads have 2.02/1.60 valves in it.They are 64cc heads,so I hope this drops my comp.ratio a lit5tle.Can you think of a better cam to use.Oh yeah I've got a set of pontiac full roller rockers,1.6 ratio.Thanks panhead201

 

i don't think those heads will work . i'm pretty sure the biggest valves you can go are 1.94 /1.50 .

i'm gonna put vortecs on my 305 and a hot cam .

 

this is strictly gonna be a track car. with the cam I told you about would be worthless on the street.Its off a 68 camaro track car. trans am circuit.Somebody would have to push you to get you startedpanhead201

 

The funnything was to qualify for the trans am circuit they had to make one car for every other dealership,meaning if they had 1002 dealerships they had to make 501 cars.It'd be funny as hell to have some idiot order onewith the stage 2 cam,8,000 to 11,000 I think.I cant remember,then try to drive it home.It'd be hopping up and down on the dealers lot.panhead201
