Gathering info for turbo 3.4 build

as the title states. its been awhile since ive worked with any turbo cars so im out of the loop. plans for the blazer went from nitrous, to blower, to turbo. thanks to another member i was informed that the cam that im using will work with a turbo set up. im looking to find out what would be a decent turbo for this app. im not looking to spend a fortune as im not looking for huge gains, and if i blow it up, oh well.

on to the specs:

ARI boat anchor 3.4- hyper pistons, ring gaps loosened up for boost, arp main studs and rod bolts.
iron heads- port matched, bowls blended, slightly worked intake vane
crane solid flat tappet cam- 112 LSA http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRN-250801/
comp 1.6 roller tip rockers- lift is around 500
trick flow 6.250" pushrods, howards solid lifters
fidanza FWD aluminum flywheel with clutchnet 6-puc clutch
some heddman headers that ill prolly chop up
prolly going to stick with the stock 3.42 gears, maybe use an exploder diff with the 3.73 gears.
T5 NWC
also have an SRT4 intercooler from my sunturd
power goals? whatever a decent number is, 350hp+ maybe a little more

i will be changing the TBI intake out for the MPFI intake, not sure if i want to try and work the 3.4 sfi or stick with the 2.8/3.1 intake.

switch out 7747 ecm with a 7730 and $59

ive been looking at fleabay turbos and found the GT35 and 60-1. i used to have a Turbo Regal with the PT-54 with the .63 turbine housing and that thing took forever to spool. i like the GT35 but seems a little too much for what i need. then again, as long as im far enough away from surge, ill prolly try to blow the 3.4 up anyway. i dont know everything thats out there but im not going to spend a small fortune on a turbo alone. not going too crazy with the project, just something to drive once in a while. the fleabay turbos are well within my budget. just need to know what is a good size. and a decent WG since i only have messed with internal WG turbos.
thanks!

60mm turbo is a great turbo on the 3.4, and one of the ebay 50 trim turbos is a great starter turbo. .63 t3 hotside will have no problem spooling. hell my 60-1 on my 3.1 is a .84 housing

i just remembered that i have a turbo from my buick, forgot that its in storage sitting in a box next to the blazer im wondering if it would be better to switch out the housings and comp/turbine since its a hot air turbo. it ran out of juice quick on a bone stock 3.8
