The kit averages 6-8 pounds of boost, but the power being made will of course vary depending on the engine that it is installed on. How much power is your engine making naturally aspirated, and I will tell you what you should be seeing at around 8-psi...

Re: Vortech Supercharger

I've got an all internally stock L98. My mods are minor bolt ons. I've got a BBK 52mm throttle body, ceramic coated 1 5/8'' hooker headers and y-pipe. 3'' high flow cat and 3'' flomaster cat back exhaust.

Just a little FYI.. That supercharger system has been discontinued for a few years. Year one lists all sorts of goodies for our cars that never show up if you order them.

Re: Vortech Supercharger

That sucks. I was hoping that wasn't the case. The only other one I have seen is the one from pro-charger.

The TPI setups were discontinued, but they still make them for the SBC family. Not sure if it will clear a third gen hood, but it does in fact clear a second gen hood. You would just need to do your own charge piping to lead to the throttle body, then sell the carb enclosure...
