Retrofit TBI Nitrous help, external regulator?

Hey everyone in power adder land I have a question. I friend of mine is letting me borrow his NX Wet shot kit and I was wondering if I needed an external regulator in between the T in the fuel line and fuel solenoid. Here's a few pics of the kit in question.

I took the pics to show the Part numbers to see if anyone was familiar with these solenoids.

I'm running an AC Delco TPI pump pushing 22 psi at the "stock" regulator. (for clarity it's an Xtremefi adjustable reg). I have a spare Acton fuel T that I can plumb in, I just have to unscrew the valve and pull it out so it will have continuous flow. any help would be extremely appreciated.

You won't need a regulator, what you need is your fuel jet to match the nitrous jet for the fuel pressure you will be running.

You can look up the charts online, or contact the MFG.

Otherwise you're going to get a VERY rich shot

Re: Retrofit TBI Nitrous help, external regulator?

I just checked out the NX website and from what I can gather is that I'll probably need something inbetween the TBI and TPI jet settings. Heres what it says for both..

5.0 vin e 52/38 nitrous/fuel 9-13 psi
5.0 vin f 52/32 nitrous/fuel 34-47 psi

well i'm running at 22 psi at the regulator. So what would i need then?

Re: Retrofit TBI Nitrous help, external regulator?

I have TBI and N0S system. I run a Aero FPR 13301. I use a port for FP gauge and another for the TB INJ's and another for the fuel solenoid and of course the return. I was running 19.5 lbs FP and when I went to N20 I upped to 26 to account for 75 HP shot. I used the jetting chart for NOS systems(50HP?) and it proved to be very rich 10.0/1. I added to the N20 jet and I believe today I am at 75 HP.
