Stock 4.8 with a turbonetics t70 im thinking of doing 12 psi max. When i bought the turbo it came with an extra exhaust housing of 1.10 a/r so was wondering if its better also since it is coated

Oh ok. Have a questione would the size of the turbo do a big differance?
This is how the previous owner had the car but when i bought he didnt have the turbo anymore so i bought one and it wont fit into place.

Re: what a/r is best?

if the ex housing is what is hitting then going to a smaller housing will free up some room

Re: what a/r is best?

Yes its the exhaust housing hittin with the small one. So i was thinking of cuttin the pipe and welding it about 1inch closer for it could clear.

Re: what a/r is best?

the housinig in that picture only apears to be a t4 63 or 84, id contact the guy and see what housing he was using and just get the same one. much easier then cutting up the hotpipes and redoing them
