Procharger 12 rib upgrade

I purchased my procharger d1sc set up a week ago, but when I asked for the 12 rib upgrade, they said that they didn't have one listed for our cars. How did everybody else get theirs? Do I just have to call procharger and get it from them? Also, what size crank pulley do I need?

Re: Procharger 12 rib upgrade

I have a F1A 12 rib kit installed on my 89 camaro. The brackets are just a sbc kit not just designed for the camaro, I also then have the relocation bracket that bolts onto the head to lower and move the charger out to clear the hood. If your interested i have the brackets and steering pump for that set up Im going to a manual steering rack.

Re: Procharger 12 rib upgrade

There are two option.

Std chevy kit or for a serp.setup.
With serp.setup ( so called TPI kit for thirdgen) its a tight fit with 12rib.

Will check the part.nbrs later today..........

Re: Procharger 12 rib upgrade

Would I need all of the idler parts from them? I am going to be adding a dayco tensioner onto the main bracket as a few people have done on here.

No, I guess not, depends on how your planning to use. There are a few diffrent way of doing it.

I use one Idler on my spring loaded setup.

Re: Procharger 12 rib upgrade

I never had a problem ordering pulleys or belts before.

For my tensioner setup I used no extra idlers and rev to 6400 no problem so far. You might be able to get away with the 8 rib and spring loaded tensioner. How much do you plan to spin the d1sc?

Try doing it with a cog setup using ATI's sprag clutch pulley on the blower...

Anything other than the standard belt setup gets very tight on the radiator with the serpentine TPI setup.
