Well, I finally got the bird running again after a 4 year hiatus due to some bad health issues which are still ongoing. Had a little E85 in the carb and tank when I parked it. Well I rebuilt the carb and changed plugs. I looked down the intake manifold while I had the carb off... There was a bunch of mice crap and seeds. I thought for sure I would have to pull the intake and heads... Vacuumed that up as best as we could. They must’ve gotten in there while the turbo was off at one point. As of now it runs like a timed watch. We went for a cruise and kept bumping up the boost to 12 psi. We stopped there as it was getting to be too much for the street. The timing is very conservative and is leaving a lot of power on the table. Going to get to the track and add timing at different boost levels. For now it runs very hard and is a blast on the street.

What size tires are on the rear? They look good.

 

275/60/R15 drag radials. I’m when the turbo starts to spool in 2nd it ignites the tires and hazes them through third. I’m running the centerforce DF clutch from about 10 years ago. May need to upgrade soon.

 

Right on that's badass nothing better then getting back behind the wheel n tearing up some roads listening to the exhaust singing out 🤠
