What can I do to my 3.1 w/ Flowmaster?
Hi guys, I have a 3.1L automatic w/ recent flowmasters and I want more power out of it. Some four cylinders of today can beat me according to specs in mags. Its rediculous, this is a Camaro, not a Yugo, any ideas?

COFormula summed it up pretty good. As far as power adders go, a turbo system will probably run you $2500 and up (usually way up) and will require fabrication.
Paxton or one of the other major supercharger makers may make a bolt on blower kit for the 3.1, I'm not sure. If they do it would likely cost at least $2000 and up (probably more like $3000-$4000. If no bolt on kit is available, you could buy a supercharger head unit and fabricate your own brackets (or have them done) and addapt a drive system from another application or have something custom fabbed.
A nitrous system would run around $500 and up for an EFI kit. They are pretty much bolt on with little or no fabrication required.
If interested in a swap to a V8 you can get more info on the motor swap forum.
If you just want basic performance hop ups for yor V6 then you can get info for that on the V6 forum

Hit the Juice
You can always go the Nitrous oxide route. Most dry systems are around 500.00, are easy to install and provide a lot of bang for the buck. You could run 75 HP easy on the little V6 and you would get some big time performance
