ram air work?
On a windy day at a stop light a gust of wind will sometime rev my engine. If it's strong enough it will kill it, so I have to keep my foot on the gas a little. After I installed it I could tell a big difference in throttle response above 45 mpr.

So far I can only add 1 pict at a time.
I like them. You can hear the air rushing in. I do however have to clean the K&N's more often.

The ones I showed are made of sheet metal and fairly heavy.
I teamed up with a sheet metal air con guy that doesn't think it was worth the time for the $. spot welding and silver soldering ect. We were selling them for $50 a pair at the time.
I've thought of using plastic in place of the metal. I wouldn't need the sheet metal guy and could make them on my own then. I think they would be as sturdy and much lighter. I just haven't gotten of my butt to make any yet.

I bought the March Performance Pulley's Mustang Scoop for like 60 bucks from JEGS. It mounts neatly right under passenger side bumper and you can pull out splash guard (or what ever you wnt to call it) and run the hose right up around the inside of the fender. I'm currently trying to decide what type of hose to run for it. I was using 4 inch alum. air cond. flex hose, but it kept breaking out about every 2 months. I've just recently redone it with a 5 to 4 inch PVC pipe connector, to a 4 inch dryer hose (needed a quick fix before I try to fabricate something else maybe flex piping), to a 4 to 3 inch tiolet bowl fitting (stop laughing, wanted a tight seal) to the air canister. Seems to work ok for now, but I'm sure it's gonna ripe out over time. I'm sure I'll get bored, and I will think of something else to use.
