Looking to run NX 20920 but............

From searching past posts and reading current ones I'm leaning towards the NX 20920 over the NOS 5151. Even though the plate looks nicer NX seems to be the better quality system, forgetting for a moment about the debate between the first 2 cylinders with the plate and what not. My question is how do I mount the NO2 nozzle? The problem is I have a MAF sensor and the tubing between it and the throttle body is accordian type. I called NX and they suggested to drill just to the back of the MAF sensor. The only way to do that where there's room is on top or high on the side and that would look like crap!(IMO) Is there anything else I can do to make this work or am I stuck with using the NOS 5151?

good question

Ihave the NX kit, not installed yet I was thinking about
drilling a hole in the plastic tube before the flex hose, but its close to the belt so I might have to rethink that option.

I believe there a hollow treaded tube thats tighten with a nut
provided, then you tread in the injector. I think you can do this
even in the flex tube.

I sure someone will add to this, if my explaination doesnt make sense your not alone, my point, the kit provides all parts needed
for a complete install. NX is the way to go, NOS is a great kit
but not for TPI, my opinion

I got the NX kit. My nozle is right in front of the rubberflex tube. I drilled out a hole and mounted it in the hard plastic inlet tube.

Your right it does put the lines close to belt, but I haven't had any problem w/ it. Even when I'm hard on the throttle w/ the engine "twisting" in the bay, it still doesn't touch the lines.

You're saying you put it in the air cleaner lid part, just in front of the MAF sensor right? I thought about that but I don't like the idea of having it spray through the MAF sensor. Somehow I think you could damage the wire that's in there and if nothing else throw off the readings of the sensor. If that is how you have it have you had any problems with it like this and how much have you used it?

He put it where the ugly square box part meets up with the accordian hose. Right BEFORE the accordian hose hits the TB. Personally, I have a PVC setup going to a custom ram air box for my hood. I have it threaded into the PVC about 4" in front of the TB.

Your NX kit should have come with one of these aluminum bushings to give it a rigid mount in the "bellows" between your MAF and throttlebody all the NX kits I sell have one. I like to mount it up from the bottom and spraying dead in the middle of the butterflys. make sure you do not have a plastic Air Foil (gas melts some plastics) and if you do not have an airfoil at all, I recommend getting one in aluminum (TPIS, SLP, and others sell them in aluminum) even though NX says you don't need one.

Thanks alot for the pic. That's just what I needed to see. I didn't get the kit yet because of this issue. I was going to see about doing what Free Bird did but I'd rahter go into the bellows. I was wondering about something to hold the nozzle securely while keeping it sealed. Now that I know that's how it comes and that I can install it in that way I'll order it. Thanks again.

Is that your business you were speaking about before when you said when you sale them? How much for the kit and the Gen X upgrade with the bottle heater, pressure gauge, HD fuel pressure cutoff switch, NHRA blow off cap, and NHRA blow down tube?
