if i try to go to the chat room ,it comes upwith the make a sound /choose an action but the rest of it is blank except for a little red x thingy, can someone clue me in on what the deal is here?am i missing something on my pc that it needs? thanks

Do you have a firewall??? YOu may have settings to not allow you to view it. By the way your not missing much.

Like Aaron said, you're not missing much. Last time I went there (at least 6 months ago) most everyone in there were dix. It was kinda sad that such a helpful and friendly forum had one of the crappiest chat rooms I've been in.

If site admin wants to put me in charge of that chat room, I'm there. I have plenty of experience with IRC and mIRC scripting.

 

two of the guys , tpiroc and z28***** seem pretty cool and very knowledgable but that was on another computer and a while back ,dunno if they still go in there

 

hmm judging from the last post , i'll guess z has left the building, they banned part of his screenname

 

it's probably just a banned word; nothing about the person himself. tpi_roc is in the room all the time. What sucks about the chat is that nobody is allowed to idle in there. This makes sense for bandwidth issues, but really hinders the chat room's function.
