Same here. There must have been some some DNS issues because I got the "server can't be found" message a time or two in between usage, but since it only occurred a couple times, I ignored it myself. That's not the first time that it's done that.

As far as the user who couldn't ping TGO, it appears that TGO does not respond to the normal ICMP ping requests. You can't ping the server because it won't respond, so that itself is nothing. I've noticed that a while back.

Big DNS issues.

I think I finally got them figured out though. Could take a couple days for everything to settle down and propogate out though.

Woohoo! We totally lost DNS propogation! Anyone who does get a chance to read this, you can try http://dns.thirdgen.org/techbb2/

Spread the word.

Some (very few) nameservers haven't flushed the cached hostname yet.. but it is *not* propogating at this time and *will* disappear.

Glad you got it ironed out, Dirk! I managed to get to the forums by adding a slash after techbb2, but couldn't post/search/etc. I guess the cookie wasn't being generated for the IP, just for the DNS name. Aren't computers fun? I guess that's why I was having intermittant problems all of last week... glad to know it wasn't my computer.

Oh... DUH... I should've added thirdgen.org to my hosts file (static DNS file). That's what I get for trying nslookup commands at 4:00am!
