how do i post a picture in my signature

how do i post a picture in my signature

I want a picture to show up next to my signature, but I'm not sure how?? Anyone know?? THANKS

First you need a host, a place where you can upload your image to. Generally, your ISP gives you some webspace as part of a package. If so, you can upload images there, and usually "hot link" it. If your ISP doesn't offer that, i've seen some people upload their image to their Readers Rides, and then link it in their signature. i think Cardomain also allows doing such. Note that not all places allow hot linking. GeoCities is one of them that does not allow you to upload an image to their server so that you can display it outside of their network.

Once you have the image hosted, then go to your user cp section and click on the Edit Profile tab. In the signature box, you will need to use vB code since HTML is disabled. vB image codes look something like this (the text in between the lines, substitute your URL with the location of where your image is located at.)
