That's the better attitude to have. We all started in a similar situation. And once you gather the tech help you need, learned a lttle more on your own (hopefully not the hard way, like many of us have), and can hand some of that back to other members, that's all we ask. Help out when and where you can, take whatever advice you feel is prudent when you ask for it, and give back some of your experiences when you can.

That is why we're here. Not to put big, meaningless numbers next to our meaningless names. And you just might find that after you've been around a while, and people start to recognize that name more than that meaningles number, you'll be able to have a little fun and get a bit more slack.

Keep that attitude, and you may go far. Members who have 95% useful posts, and 5% joking around are a lot easier to take than the opposite. They seem to last longer, too.

i am on several other car forums and use the same name. orr89rocz. same password too. ******** LOL it would hurt me deeply to have to use a different name or to have all my posts ripped away. LOL not sure why but it kinda shows loyalty to the site, and says your a dedicated member. People see your name often and your post count and associate things like that.

I dont mean to bring up old news but Its true that the guys that have a lot of experience offer a lot of knowledge but that doesnt give them the right to act like there the messiah of third gens and clown ppl that dont have much knowledge about these cars and are trying to learn.Ive been an electrician for 8 years now and I dont go around acting like I know everything even though I have all that experience.Even if I had 50 years exp. or more I wouldnt run around and act like the messiah of electricity.

Good, I'll put it into perspective for you... you make an electricial board. You post up a faq and have the board running for a half a decade. You have a great search feature.

What are you supposed to say or do when you see 'What does GFCI stand for?' once a month for a question even though it's been answered before and is contained in your FAQ? What do you do when you have people advising others on your board that 1-2 inches underground is sufficient for running line in frost zones? And what are you to think when those same people are constatly acting up on your board?

3rd,its against any code for underground pipe to be 1-2 inches underground,it has to be a minimum of 12 inches

To those that have been resurrected from the TGO dead I would take heed to Red Devils advice. Listen to him. Your logic and response to him are laughable. Consider your un-banning a fluke glitch. You were not brought back for any other reason. It was not intended to happen but somehow it did. When Dirk climbed out from under his rock some things got goofed with board maintenance. I would not push it anymore. Consider it a blessing that your IP was not banned and move on. If you continue to act in the manor you do, you will have every TGO mod waiting at the plug to pull it. Keep it up and we will fix the glitch. Got it?
