TGO is a Privilege not a Right
I am tired of reading threads about how people feel they are owed something by TGO. I am tired of reading about members not liking the moderators. When we joined TGO all of us were aware that there were rules to obide by in order to maintain are membership. TGO is one of the best sites out there period. I have found some of the most useful information here. Most of the people are very helpfull and knowledgeable. Your membership here is much like your drivers license. You by no means have the right to drive a car. It is a privilege provided to you once you reach a certain age. You must pass a test for a license. Once EARNED, a license can be taken away if rules/LAWS are broken. Just because your 17 does't mean you have the right to a drivers license. The Constitution does not state you have the right to a drivers license. Look it up, I dare you, if you even know how to. The same goes here. You have the privilege of being a member. There are no tests to pass. You must only abide by the rules to maintain your status. If you can't and continually can't, your privilage must and will be revoked. I understand this is a new concept to many of our members who throughout their life have never been told "no" to, or "I'm sorry you can't do that." They have been handed everything by mom and dad. If they didn't get what they wanted, I'm sure they cried and screamed until they did. This is the real world and we all have rules we must follow. Nobody and I mean nobody is above the rules or laws. If you can't abide by TGO rules I suggest you get off the board. Your of no use to any of us and we don't want you here. We especially don't want your posts. So quit your crying about missing posts and moderators that keep you in check or that tell you to search. If you don't like it leave!!! TGO is a previlage and not a right!!!

It might help curb some of the morons who have signed up in the last 3-4 years.
Hey Kids - Just because you got a computer for christmas, doesn't mean we want to hear from you.

People under 21 not allowed on TGO? That would be pretty lame. Sure, there are alot of immature "kids" on this site probably, but that's why there are moderators...to keep things under control. If things get out of control and get crazy...the members are warned. If it still occurs, they can be banned...or any type of further action can be taken. If I had to choose....I would say atleast the age of 16...(driving age) would be a good age to start. That's when people get to experience with different types of cars..whether it be hot rods, classics, r*cers, or 3rd gens...and so on..

Ironically enough, your response was not directed at anyone.
Ironically enough, your response was not directed at anyone.
and we already have
grd effx vs sport coupes to certain degree
camaro vs firebird
import vs domestic in the racing board
mustang vs. f-body in same board as above
and probably more that I dont know of....so..
Thats the last flame war we need, generation x vs. the baby boomers. We all have knowledge to share so lets stay cool.Thats why theres rules before we sign up and thats why theres mods to enforce those rules.
