What About A New Big Block Forum?

i dunno, maybe its a dumb idea or maybe they already have something affiliated with this that i missed. but i noticed that this site is so informative and has almost anything and everything you'd ever need to know about a 3rd Gen. i see that there's a forum for the ls1/lt1 conversions and everything. so i thought maybe they should have a forum for people who have squeezed Big Blocks into their 3rd gens... i dunno maybe there aren't that many people who have done this conversion or maybe its just not interesting enough but i thought it would be an interesting idea to have a forum just for the Big Blocks since i'm thinking of trying the conversion sometime in the future... whatcha guys think?

I think it makes just as much sense as having a LS1/LT1 board. Over the years, there's been tons of Q's on BB installs on thirdgens, so really, the info is here already but you have to do numerous searches to find it.

Not so if you're installing an LS1.....

EDIT: Just add info to the "Engine Swap" board under the thread 5-7 kid already started - "BBC info". It doesn't really need to be a whole separate catagory. JMO...

I think we would have a better chance if a thread was started in the PHSC board. Or a helpfull Mod could move this thread.

That's going a little far. Big blocks can be discussed on the Tech/General board or the Engine Swap board. The LTx/LSx stuff is different and needs more specific support from a site like this where these swaps are becoming more popular. We wouldn't want to chase people to 4th Gen sites for all of their engine information, this is not necessary for big blocks.

I couldn't agree more. There is not enough big block threads to merit an entire thread devoted to it. For every big block swap there are 10 Gen II/III swaps.
