paging metallic camaro rs....
Hey Mr. metallic camaro or whatever your name is..the only reason i posted in the detailing and appearance forum was because i didn't know where else to post a thread about an offer for my car...since your the bigshot moderator you could have suggested the appropriate forum for it then rather than just putting a lock on the ****, come on man, no body is getting paid for moderating anything on here..it aint that serious.

Why is that when people break the rules, that they agreed to when they joined no less, end up blaming the Moderator for infractions.
You are not a rebel and cliche name calling holds zero merit.
From the rules
Use this board that is clearly visable in the forum list.

although i dont agree with how you're going about this. i DO feel this board needs a general topics forum for thread such as the one in question. if the current forums werent moderated so strictly (not complaining) it wouldnt matter, but since even some legitiment threads get locked, i think there should be a place for these threads

Rants aside, the various forums available to you on this site should cover all the bases a viewer could need (EXCEPT off-topic. There is a reason this site is "tech-only", and it's what makes this site so successful). You are within your rights on this site to PM the moderator that locked your thread, or post a complaint in the Problems, Help, and Suggestions forum, and as you can see, I redirected this thread to said forum. You may suggest the creation of a forum that can handle "car value discussion" threads there. Your original locked thread was clearly not Appearance & Detailing related, and did not pose any specific request for help or offering of information, so is considered off-topic. This is why it was locked.

Keeping this site TECH related ONLY, may not be the best thing in the long run. When I say to have a general forum...it doesnt have to be COMPLETELY off topic and go into politics, movies, sports, etc. But a general Car or THIRDGEN related board. I know i would spend more time on this forum if there was something like that. Remember, happy viewrs/posters are returning viewers/posters. More traffic equals better advertising opportunites. I just dont see a downside to it.

It could very well happen, now that the site has changed owners.
