I have heard a rumor that thirdgen.org is the largest car related forum in the world... is this true? Can anyone affirm or deny this?

No, but it's close though. It is the biggest and best concerning Third Gens and the 2nd overall for F-Bodies next to CZ28.com, which covers everything and not only a single Gen.

WOW!! cz28.com is 298 and little ol' thirdgen.org is 307!! Thats pretty awsome right there in itself. Thirdgen being one generation and cz28.com being all gens. Im pretty impressed by that.

Actually,
From looking at the listings, we are the largest tech only site dedicated to one generation of a vehicle.
Notice my keywords of tech only and only one generation of a vehicle.
So I think our "little" site does quite well .

How or where is the "list" showing these rankings?
Or are you just using search engine rankings?
Or numbers of members?
There is a members hack out there.
For both total members and online members.
post per day is the hard one to fake.
But you must compare that to who is doing all the posting to be safe.

There are some very dubious results in there.
For posts last week some Anime roleplaying site claims to have had over 7 million and has over half a billion all time.
I ain't buying that.

If you're talking about Gaia Online, the stats are accurate. The site is insanely popular and runs off of more hardware than most people can fit in a room. I don't even want to know what they've got invested in that site and what their monthly bandwidth bills are.

Heres some info an anime roleplaying etc.
Go to a comic book shop when the dorks gather. Magic, MArvel comics role playing, DandD, etc.
I swear they think they live in medieval times.
So I can imagine the lack of no life continues onto their preferred internet domiciles lol
