The last few days, when I get an email notification for posts to threads I'm subscribed to, when I click the link, it takes me to the first post in the thread instead of the new post.

Also, much of the time, regardless of whether I go straight to the board, or whatever it is not showing the icon that shows the threads with new posts.

Being that I am a mod, this makes it extemely difficult to do my job.

Is everybody experiancing this or just me on the "South Central board"

EDIT: Also just noticed I am not getting email notifications for new posts in subscribed threads.

Not that I know of-- that problem still exists along with several others. Maybe somebody that knows what's going on here will jump in and let us know. It is getting very frustrating for me!!!

 

Zap Racing, last I heard (through the Admin/Mod forum) it was believed that the vBSEO product may be the culprit, and that a support request was sent to vBSEO, according to Jason.

 

As of 4/18/06 9am central time--it still goes to post #1 for me!

 

It has been working correctly for me.

Dumb question, are you logged in when you visit using link in the email notification?

 

What I do is click on the link sent to my email, so I am not logged on. But it used to work before the new system. Oh and I have tried to log on first then click the email link, but no difference.

Yes I am-- I do not have to log on--it does it automically.

Now when I clicked on this link for this particular email notification --it worked --went straight to your post like it's supposed to.

 

As of this morning, it seems to be working correctly--Wed 4/19/06--the email notification links take me to the latest post--as it should be (still holding my breath).
