i had posted a thread in the appearence section of the forums and it was show me your trans ams and firebirds and i feel it got locked for no reason there was no bashing or anything just some good pics of fellow bird owners cars and i think that it was wrong that my thread was closed for no reason what so ever i mean come on!

 

We have vbgarage for posting pictures. That is probably why it was closed since there is no need to have them on the server twice.

 

It is probably best to contact the moderator privately, if you really need to know why. It is clear who the moderator was that closed the thread, as they replied to inform you. Posting criticism of the staff is generally not well received and is noted in the rules.

Moderators don't close threads to meet a quota, so there is a reason.

I'm not the moderator for the sub-forum where your thread was locked, but all I can think of is that there are numerous posts/threads with the same content over the course of nearly a decade that ThirdGen.org has been here. Plus, as mentioned, there is a vBGarage that is always being updated by our members.

 

You asked a very generic question, something very easily resolved by running one search.

There have to be thousands upon thousands of firebird photos on thirdgen.org, not to mention what is located in vbgarage.

Why ask such a broad query for thirdgen pictures on a massive thirdgen forum? Go into the power-adder forum and ask what a turbocharger is and you'll get the same response.
