Reader's Rides

Hey-- Would be emailing this direct, but couldn't find a link, so i'll post and see what happens...

Was wondering why you can't add your ride anymore... Is the database full or am i just missing something? When you go to the Reader's Rides link from the main page Add My Ride and Edit My Ride are both blocked out.

What gives?

Thanks

Sorry about how this posted twice--- It said that it failed, so i did it again-- guess it didn't. Anyways, i'll toss in another suggestion i came up with since i posted this one...

How about somewhere people interested in Ram Air can post??? The folks over in Power Adder seem to have something up there **** about being stricktly Turbo/Super Charger/Blower and nothing else... Seems to me Power Adder means adding power, but whatever...

They said that ram air folks should go post in exhaust... i did a search, NOTHING came up for Ram Air on the exhaust board.

Soooo.... ?

When we changed from the UBB to vBulletin, the accounts in the rides database were no longer pointed correctly. I have to modify all of the rides to point to the accounts in the vBulletin database. Until the conversion is done, I can't allow someone to add or edit their ride because they can't be authenticated properly. I'd hoped to be done last night, but I'm running into some problems. I hope to have them working properly again soon.

As for your ram air question. I'd put that in either General Engine or in the Apperance section. Power Adder is really for "real" power adders like NOS, supercharger turbos. Adding Ram Air is not really any different than changing your ignition. It's a minor mod that really you're not going to see much effect of until you hit higher speeds.

I tried to edit my old ride and add my IROC, but each time it said:
"The referring document's domain did not match the domain of this server. Execution has been aborted"

Check again. I foolishly forgot to reimport the ride images after I had done a test install over the weekend. Everything on the rides should be working properly now.

Dirk,
I tried editing my old RS, and got this:

Error Occurred While Processing Request
Error Diagnostic Information
An error has occurred.

HTTP/1.0 404 Object Not Found

Please inform the site administrator that this error has occurred (be sure to include the contents of this page in your message to the administrator).

EDIT: Got the same message when I tried to add my IROC.

What is the exact error message you get? What exactly are you trying to do?

I'm still getting the same message that I posted above.

This is when I try to edit my old 92 RS, and when I try to add my 89 IROC.

I also get that error when I try to view a user's ride, or search the rides. The only thing that seems to work for me is browsing the rides. Any ideas what the problem is?
