T-Top trim needed

I need the trim piece that mounts to the t-top and covers the outside edge of the glass (drip edge/rail?) You can see the piece I'm talking about in the picture. Mine is falling off and just plain screwed-up. Is this still available? I borrowed the pic from 'frenchians' thread.....

I may take that route and remove it.....
gmpartsdirect.com shows what looks to be a replacement piece but the diagram they show is not very clear.

Re: T-Top trim needed

I removed mine and so far no problem. I'm in So. Calif. though and there hasn't been much rain this year. There might be a little bit more wind noise but i listen to my music loud so not real sure.

Not cheap, but I think this is what you seek:

T-Tops Weatherstrip

Re: T-Top trim needed

I just bought a set from gmpartsdirect.com,

Part numbers are;
Side Rail Seal RH 10198352
Side Rail Seal LH 10198353

The original ones are a firm rubber, the new replacement ones from GM are plastic. You can take the trim off the top and replace it but it’s a pain, at least mine where.

Re: T-Top trim needed

Yes, the red strip is on the double sided foam tape. It gets pealed off before installation so the foam strip will adhere to the T-Top and form a seal.

Re: T-Top trim needed

You can also get them from fbody motorsports I think they were 49.00 each. I orderd 2 about 6 months ago they were a rubber plastic mix to replace the orignal they seem to work better. Heres a link to Strips. GM T-top Seal Retainer Strip http://www.fbodymotorsports.com/inc/sdetail/2212 if you call them and describe that part they can do it over the phone.

Do any of you who replaced the strips have a pic of what the new replacement ones look like?
