Where does the wire on the back of the compressor come from?

Here is the schematic for your ecm wires. They all run on the passengers side. The fused orange wire at the battery powers the ecm and fuel pump oil pressure switch.

Alright just got done replacing the fusible links on the starter now all the lights again yayyy work but when I try to crank nothing should I check to see if the purple wire sends signal while cranking? And start poking around with the test light under the dash to see if I'm getting power to ignition?

Start at the purple wire and check for power while cranking. If that doesn't work then look for the starter relay, it should be inside the cabin on the driver's side in the door side of the foot well behind or above the plastic piece with carpet on it. It looks like a relay. If you are not getting power their then the problem is either VATS or the ignition cylinder unless somebody has also hacked the interior wiring.

If it's a manual transmission there may also be a clutch switch you could also look at but they don't usually go bad like other parts.

alright awesome answers but I did bypass vats with correct resisters.the starter is brand new from jegs and I'm reading 12.5 volts from starter to ign wires.3 red pictured.pretty sure just missing alternator wire.it also was the wire that fried the fusible link I think I mistook the fatter gauge red wire thinking they were the same -__- .but I'm not sure is the bigger gauge wire supposed to run to junk box or starter?the wire coming from the back of the alternator.so plan is to get some 14 fusible link cut it and replace that alt wire then start poking around with the multi meter purple wire
